Elementary school children,
outdoors for recess in the mountain air.
The sounds of the  Jersey shore in summer.
A sea gull yells out his confusion.

  2. What a contrast between recess and a seagull's confusion! The last line made me laugh. :) I do find similarities in both--each is shrieking and loud in their own little ways. A lovely poem/small stone, Teri!
