Upon the pointed hill
warm outlines of naked trees in winter.

  1. I am always mesmerized by the beauty of winter trees etched against the sky. This is beautiful and whimsical.

  2. At first glance I saw a window open in the middle of a sunset... I had to look again to see the pointed shadow was not an actual roof, and the trees are also shadows on the illuminated brick.
    My imagination...

  4. Hi Teri-
I found your comment on my poem very interesting because I find it really hard - almost impossible - to write from a visual prompt. Isn't it interesting how different we all are? Some of write from visual, some verbal, some a mix... I'm very much in the verbal camp. I'm always impressed with your interpretations of paintings and photos. I just ... suck.... at that.
