ballet

December 14, 2011- Small Stones
ballet   by  Teri H Hoover

`

Seven, silent, sparrows-
scuffling in the dirt at the dip.
A sudden ballet of birds,
Synchronized and without a single chirp,

they separate, momentarily, as we walk by.
